My short film BUGCRUSH premiered at Sundance in 2006 where it won the Grand Jury Prize for Best Short Film. It went on to play at dozens of other festivals, including Director’s Fortnight at Cannes, Outfest, and Fantasia.

.

The film is based on the short story by Scott Treleaven of Salivation Army fame, and originally appeared in the incredible compilation QUEER FEAR II.

BUGCRUSH  is included on the special edition Blu-ray release of SWALLOWED, which is available from Yellow Veil Pictures via Vinegar Syndrome,

The disc features a commentary track with me (Carter Smith, writer/director) and Director of Photography Darren Lew.
